Text messages, STOP and consent

What the carriers require and what that means for you.

Messages go out from a verified number or a registered campaign, as the US carriers require. That is what keeps them from being filtered.

Anyone can reply STOP to any message and they are removed immediately, with no exceptions and no further messages of any kind. Replying START puts them back.

When you add a driver’s mobile number, you check the box that says the driver agreed to get texts about their loads. Getting that consent, and being able to show it, is your responsibility — and it is the thing most likely to get a number shut down if it is ignored.

A driver gets at most three reminders for the same load, spaced one, three and seven days apart. After that it is a phone call, not another text. The button that sends from your own phone is not counted and is not limited.
